ABOUT US
IMG_6702_Original.jpg

Aircraft Maintenance Training, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Phil C. Bohan.  Phil's vision was to build the foremost training program for aircraft mechanics.

While working with Timco and Dalfort Aviation, Phil recognized that the best aircraft mechanics were being hired by the major airlines. He saw the need to educate the remaining mechanics so he began holding 2- to 4-hour classes after working hours so the remaining mechanics would be qualified to fill the empty spots.  Because of the success of these classes, Phil retired from Timco in 1998 and opened Aircraft Maintenance Training, Inc.

AMT, Inc. hires retired commercial airline instructors and mechanics to teach its classes. Each instructor personally sits in on an AMT class to ensure they understand the teaching methods to meet the stringent requirements by AMT.
